We sought harmony between tradition and today’s modern lifestyles for a property surrounded by historic, famously iconic homes. We explored innovative ways to respect New Canaan’s colonial heritage while recognizing its history-making role in twentieth century architectural design.

A welcoming entry hall with a dramatic twenty-five foot high wall of glass beckons toward a private backyard oasis with an infinity edged pool, modern pool house, and blue skies. Open light filled spaces provide a modern ambiance for family life and entertaining. Large doorways and windows open onto expansive terraces, patios, and lawn, creating inviting relationships between indoors and nature.
